1938 Ferdinand the Bull

Ok, I know it is from 1938 but cut me some slack…..you know you want to see this. You have probably been thinking about this cartoon for a long time but couldn’t remember its name. It is one of my favorites made by Disney. Enjoy!

Ahhhh, thank you for this sweet moment in time Shane. And while 1938 was way before my time I do remember this cartoon and as well that Ferdinand The Bull is the very first book I ever remember owning. I treasured it and wish I still had it. Wow, you’ve jogged some very sweet memories. I don’t think anything will ever equal the beauty of Disney animation. Thank you my friend!

Oh I always LOVED that cartoon!!! When I managed a video store in college in the late ’80s, we’d play all of those old Disney and Looney Tunes cartoons. One of my other favorite Disney ones was “Winkin’, Blinkin’ and Nod” — talk about sweet and beautiful animation!

    Have you seen the documentary FRANK AND OLLIE (1995) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113104/ ? You need to seek it out if you haven’t.
