1940’s Entry Table

It looks great with our lamps!

I purchased this off of Craigslist awhile ago and restored it. Once I finished restoring it I realized I didn’t have room for it so I tried to sell it. I posted it on Craigslist and I didn’t get one bite. We moved shortly after that and I was actually lucky it didnt sell because I love it in our new place.

When I got this table it had a blond finish and it was so old that it was peeling off. The stability was also a problem. I had to reinforce all the joints and I also glued and screwed the legs where they are now. I decided to go for a two tone look and used a satin finish sage green with a gloss black for the drawers and legs. I repainted the drawer pulls in the sage color as well so they wouldn’t get lost in the piece. We like it and I hope you do too!

This would also look good behind a retro couch

I think the black and sage go well together.

We love it!

  1. Hah! How did I miss this one on Craigs?! It looks beautiful! I love those colors you use. I still haven’t even gotten to the three tables I did buy from you. I wanted to use those colors but thought it might be best to restore them to their original finish instead for resale since the colors might be too specific. Opinions?
