Where were you in ’62

This is a great flick if you are into the early 60’s. This film was directed by George Lucas and had an all-star cast such as Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Paul Le Mat, Charles Martin Smith, Cindy Williams, Candy Clark, Mackenzie Phillips, Wolfman Jack and Harrison Ford. Lucas based this movie off his youth and had it take place in Modesto California in 1962. Lucas wanted to show his teenage experiences cruising and hanging out with friends in Modesto. This film was released in 1973 but it did a fantastic job of conveying what things were like back then to someone who wasn’t able to experience it personally. I really love the story line and think the cars are great in it especially that sweet looking 1956 Ford Thunderbird that Suzanne Somers was driving! Anyways, if you haven’t seen this movie do yourself a favor and go check it out.
