Mel took a day off work so we could go and see this early in the day. It was such a fantastic film to see on the big screen. As the dark surrounded us, the anticipation of what was to come was overwhelming. I tried to imagine myself as one of the original patrons of this movie when it was first released in 1942. The story is classic and the famous one liners are endless. Even if you were unable to go and see it today for its one day showing, then make sure you catch this great flick somehow. I love the humor that Claude Rains brings to this film.
