50’s Sundrella Aluminum Patio Umbrella

Mel and I have been looking for one of these for a while. We currently have quite a few pieces of Fibrella (Set 1, Set 2) fiberglass patio furniture, but no vintage aluminum pieces…until now.

The overall umbrella is in great shape. Some of the slats need to be straightened out, but that is easy considering it is aluminum.

I plan to dismantle the umbrella and have it powder coated in pink and white. I will also replace all the hardware.

I will keep you abreast of the process once I start to restore it.

Hi. I have a vintage 1950s metal outdoor patio furniture umbrella. It’s baby blue and white and needs to be repainted. Do you know of any vendors in Los Angeles area that can paint and repair a metal umbrella? It’s almost identical to the one shown above.
I’d also be willing to see it if anyone is interested.
